PH | Local Treasurer Eligibility will be given to more than 1,000 people | MANILA – The Civil Service Commission (CSC) will give Local Treasurer Eligibility to the 1,018 people who passed the Basic Competency on Local Treasury Examination (BCLTE) on June 11, 2023.
This number is 18.09 percent of the total number of people who took the test, which was 5,626.
With a score of 92.62, Jenny Sagario from Region IX did the best on the BCLTE.

In a release, CSC Chairperson Karlo Nograles said, “We look forward to your joining the civil service to help make the local treasury of the country more efficient and better.”
The CSC Examination, Recruitment, and Placement Office (ERPO) said that, in terms of regional success, Region V came in first with an impressive passing rate of 28.95 percent.
Other areas also did well, like Region IV, which passed with a rate of 26.71 percent, Region II, which passed with a rate of 24.62 percent, Region III, which passed with a rate of 23.99 percent, and Region I, which passed with a rate of 23.87 percent.
Nograles, meanwhile, gave help and encouragement to those who didn’t do well on the exams.
“For those of you who haven’t heard, this is not the end of your story. One kind of friend doesn’t just care about money, but also about kindness and loyalty. We’ll keep you in mind for public service. For those who didn’t pass, this is not the end of your goals. You can’t just look at how good an employee is; you also have to look at how hard he or she works and how dedicated he or she is. We’ll be waiting for you in the public sector,” he told her.
Examinees can get their test results by using the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System, which can be found on the CSC website at www.csc.gov.ph.
The Certification of Eligibility can be picked up at the CSC Regional Office where the test was taken. Exam Advisory No. 07, s. 2023, which is related, has been sent out and put on the CSC website.
The Local Treasurer Eligibility is a second-level qualification for appointment to the positions of Local Treasurer and Assistant Local Treasurer, as well as to positions in Financial Services that do not require the practise of a profession and are not covered by Bar/Board or special laws.
